Bartender Voodoo

So when I was working with Tanqueray as the Global Ambassador in the USA I had a lot of fun developing cool sessions for our Green Room roadshows. One of my favourite ones was a session I called Bartender Voodoo.

The basic premise of Bartender Voodoo is that some of the coolest cocktails today are in fact old and resurrected cocktails — the Last Word, Hanky Panky, Clover Club, Aviation etc etc.

What we would like you to do is help us find the next old and forgotten Gin drinks that deserve resurrection and resuscitation.

  1. 1

Go find an old cocktail book either in the real world or the Internet

  2. 2

Find a Gin recipe you have never heard of but sounds interesting

  3. 3

Remake it exactly how it says

  4. 4

Then tweak it slightly if you think the proportions are off for modern tastes or adjust slightly… please don't add to the number of ingredients significantly

  5. 5

Allow others to sample and get their feedback

  6. 6

Submit the recipe — drink name and book it came from… your name and your recipe version

  7. 7

    Done and Done.

To start you off
